Project Photos

Check out some of our jobs in this photo diary.

Chainsaw Work

Palm Tree Pruning
This one was not too big so we felt we could take it down safely. Stacked it on the verge just in time for the bulk rubbish clean-up.

Cleaning up trees and rubbish ready for a burn no the farm in Chittering Valley.

Repaired and refurbished this old trailer on the farm at Chittering. A couple of new tyres and it was ready to be used around the farm.

Lawns

Replace a Lawn
This is a lawn I did this October – complete removal of the old one and then a relay of Palmetto!
I dug out the old lawn and dropped the soil level so that the new soil could be added.

You can see the start of the 30 odd wheelbarrows of quality lawn soil.

A few hours later and a lot of hard work and we have a lovely new lawn! All that is needed now is to compact the turf down to make sure the roots are in touch with the moist dirt.

Reticulation

In this garden I did the complete planning from beginning to end – so planned retic lines, sprinklers and then planted and mulched the garden beds!

After.

Garden Beds and Walls

I have built quite a few raised garden beds – mainly for vegetable or herb gardens.

In goes the reticulation.

All done and planted out as well!

Also made a few fancy paved sections for the fruit trees that were planted in large pots later on!

Mulching is a key practice in conserving water and reducing weeding in your garden.
We spread 12cubmet of mulch on this yard.

The pea gravel was used as a mulch and path cover in this garden as well.

Here are a couple of retaining walls we built.

Plants in and Mulching started!

Clean-up Demolition

This job was a renewal job – demolition first then clean-up and then replant!

This property had 60+ new plantings in the verge gardens as well as the removal of the fountain.

General Maintenance

I do a little painting and maintenance and repairs as well as landscaping work.

Before.

The dog in this home had wrecked a lot of the sprinklers and many had to be dug up and replaced.
The door had suffered water damage (poor sprinkler location) and I had to replace it. I repainted all the rear external doors on this home.

After.

These are just a few of the jobs I have done over the last few years.
They demonstrate the range of skills I can access to support your Home and Garden maintenance needs

Complete Yard rebuilds

Sometimes the garden needs a complete revamp and then we get serious with bobcats and suchlike!

This photo timeline shows you the start to finish of a major overhaul in a frontyard!

The next garden bed was in need of some edging and overhaul of the old reticulation once again!
A bag or two of Soil Solver gave us a big head start and the garden bed should be needing little support once the plants are established!
Bed 3 Mulch planting 2014 (1)

My friends at Dawson’s Garden World Joondalup helped with the fertilisers and the plants supply.
